The Suitcase Album is a tale of two cities, the product of Gregory Ferreira's Fung Wah travels from New York to Boston every week over the course of a year.

Inspired by the intellectual and artist ingenuity of Harry Nilsson, and the concept of making everywhere you go a recording studio and everyone you know is a musician, Greggy began knocking doors asking friends to lay down tracks in venues ranging from loft studios in Brooklyn to living room corners in Somerville.

The album is a minimalist, lo-fi experiment of what a man on the road with a laptop and borrowed gear can create. The Suitcase Album is supported by the talents of a wide array of characters including Somervillians Jimmy Muscles, Alana Sacks and Sky Winchester and Brooklynites Mimi, Zack Herman and Ben O'Hallaron. Nelson Ferreira, long time Somerville resident and Greg's dad also makes a special guest appearance.
